Our Story

Welcome to Cocoa Nirvana, where our passion for food and family blends into every cup. My love for cooking began at a young age and has been a guiding force throughout my life. When I was 21, I lived in Guatemala for two years, immersing myself in the vibrant flavors and traditions of Latin cuisine. This experience deepened my appreciation for unique spices and ingredients.

In my early 30s, I decided to pursue my culinary dreams by attending culinary school at Cordon Bleu, where I further honed my skills and knowledge in the kitchen. With a large family of ten children, cooking at home has always been a joyful affair, and I cherish the moments spent in the kitchen with my kids, passing down the love for food and creativity.

After nearly a decade away from the kitchen, I faced a particularly tough financial year. During the Christmas season, I suggested to my family that we sell hot cocoa to raise funds. With their support, I crafted five unique cocoa mixes and set up a stand at our neighborhood entrance. The response was overwhelming! Our hot cocoa was a hit, and we saved Christmas with the joy of our community. Many customers returned for more and requested to purchase our mixes.

From that magical experience, Cocoa Nirvana was born—a true family affair.
